23 Things Assignment - Week 7

Adding the podcasts to our blog was quite easy to do.

I've added podcasts with various subject matters. I found 'The Secrets of Harry Potter,' 'Practical Green Living,' and 'A Mental Health Moment,' to be interesting. The podcast regarding mental health was especially informative.

23 Things Assignment 6

Well, I've tried the Online Office Tools all by myself.

Nope - no sharing the challenge this week, although I will invite the rest of the staff to use the instructions to create their own accounts.

I really liked this tool. I'm sure that any TPL working group would be able to find lots of use for this.

I certainly can think of personal uses for this tool and I'm certainly glad that I've had the opportunity to play with Web2.0 tools.

23 things Assignment # 3

We have successfully subscribed to City Pulse, CBC, CTV and Library Journal.

This exercise was blessedly non-frustrating.

The consensus is that, once we get used to accessing bloglines, we will actually use the service and we may even find that we add more feeds. It was kind of fun.

As a point of interest. We at Northern Elms are completing 23 Things as a group exercise. We are all interested enough in what we're doing, that many of us are determined to create our very own blogs.

23 Things Assignment # 2

This is reward for a hard days work.
